The Annapurna region lies on the north-central part of the western development region of Nepal extending from the Kali Gandaki River in the west to Marsyangdi in the east. The Annapurna base camp trek is one of the most popular moderate graded trekking sites in Nepal. It is the most famous trek in the Annapurna region as it serves the magnificent view of the Mount Annapurna- the 10th tallest mountain in the world which stands 8091 meters tall. This region is not only famous for its amazing landscapes and views but also equally known for its ecology, biodiversity, culture, and way of life. You will be able to enjoy the phenomenal natural beauty along with the unique cultural practices and authentic ethnicities. The floral and faunal diversity in this region is also a plus point for every nature lover.

In this adventurous trek, you will be following the best tourist guides who are specialized in trekking and are extremely familiar and acknowledged with the places. The base camp is situated at an altitude of 4210 meters which makes it a moderately graded site. The camp will be reached surpassing several destinations in the way like Ghandruk, Chhormong, Bamboo, and Deurali. On your way to Annapurna base camp, you will be able to notice several wispy waterfalls along with some whitewater rivers. Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
After landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received and welcomed by a representative of Asian heritage Tours and Travels who will further take you to a comfortable hotel. You will have a delightful overnight stay in the hotel and will get a proper rest to be prepared for the trek.
Day 2: Flight to Pokhara, trek to Ghandruk
By taking an early morning flight of 30 minutes, you will reach the beautiful city full of lakes- Pokhara. If the sky remains clear during the flight, the beautiful scenarios of mighty Himalayas can be observed from the right side of the plane. After reaching Pokhara, you will be taken to Naya Pul which is around 80 minutes away by vehicle from Pokhara. Further, you have to walk around 5 to 6 hours in order to reach Ghandruk village. The village is mostly inhabited by Gurung people and also has a Gurung museum.
Day 3: Hike to Chhomrong
From Ghandruk you will climb for an hour and reach to Kimrungdanada. On this pathway, various mountains like Annapurna, Hiuchuli, Ganggapurna, and Fishtail Mountain can be observed. After walking continuously for 2 hours Kimrong Khola arrives. From Kimrong Khola after ascending for an hour you will reach to Chere Danda and you will descend from the hill to reach Chhormong which is situated at an altitude of 2170 meters.
Day 4: Descend to Bamboo
After walking for 4 to 5 hours from Chhormomg, the next destination bamboo is reached. On the way, you have to climb down 2500 stone steps and cross Chhomrong River, climb to Sinuwa and pass a forest to reach Kulidahar. After a simple downhill walk, you will reach bamboo, overnight stay in bamboo.
Day 5: Hike from bamboo to Deurali
Deurali is around 3 to 4 hours away from Bamboo. You will pass through the Bamboo forest and a few steep sections to reach Deurali. The pathway is extremely beautiful and consists of some wispy waterfalls and glacial rivers. A famous cave Hinku also falls on the middle of the pathway. Deurali is a heaven for every nature lover. From there you can have a ravishing view of the valley, rivers, waterfalls, and several cliffs.
Day 6: Hike to Annapurna base camp
Walking alongside the river, you will reach to Macchapuchhre Base Camp through Bagar. After having a view of the various mountains like Hiuchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandhravachuli, and Gangapurna, you will further be guided to Annapurna Base Camp which lies at an altitude to 4210 meters. The Annapurna Sanctuary offers a great view of the mountains such as Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. You will spend your night in an authentic guesthouse nearby.
Day 7: Return to Bamboo
This day will be a busy one as you will retrace the path to Bamboo in a single day. But as the journey is downhill, it will not be much difficult. After walking for 7 to 8 hours you will reach Bamboo and spend the night there.
Day 8: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
This journey takes about 4 to 5 hours and is a combination of both ascending and descending pathways. First of all, you will ascend to ascend to Kulidahar and then walk downhill to Chhomrong Khola. Further, you need to climb the 2500 stone steps and then finally descend to Jhinu Danda. There are hot water springs just 15 to 20 minutes away from Jhinu Danada, thus you will have an amazing opportunity to rejuvenate your aching body.
Day 9: Trek to Naya Pul and return to Pokhara
From Jhinu Danda, You will walk for around 5 to 6 hours before reaching Naya Pul. During this journey, the beautiful hills of western Nepal can be closely observed. After reaching to Naya Pul you will go to Pokhara in a vehicle which might take around 70 to 80 minutes, overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 10: Flight to Kathmandu
You will fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. This day will be appropriate for shopping and other recreational activities like spas as it’s the last day for you in Nepal. At the evening, Asian Heritage Tours and Travels will conduct a farewell party and cultural show for further amusement.
Day 11: The Departure Day
The beautiful journey comes to an end here. A representative from Asian Heritage Tours and Travels will take you to the airport nearly 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
