Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport
After landing at Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by a representative of the Asian Heritage Tours and Travels who will lead you to a cozy and comfortable hotel. You will have a wonderful time to get rid of the jet lag by spending a quality time at the hotel, followed by a ravishing dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Visiting the major tourist destination of the Kathmandu
This day will begin with a visit to the major touristic and world heritage sites of Kathmandu. Starting from the Boudhanath Stupa, to Pashupatinath, to Swaymbhunath also known as the Monkey Temple, the major touristic sites of Kathmandu will be visited. After having a wonderful view of the valley from the Monkey Temple you will be led to Thamel in the evening for enjoying the famous rickshaw ride. Finally, you will be dropped back to the hotel for resting, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: The adventure begins (Journey to Phakding)
After taking an early morning flight from Kathmandu, you will land in Lukla within 40 minutes. It is followed by a descending route towards Phakding which is about 8 kilometers away from the Lukla airport and will consume about 3.5 hours. On the way to Phakding, you will have a view of an unclimbed mountain Khumbila while descending through the Cheplung village. Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar
The amazing journey to Namche Bazaar begins through the trails of the alpine forest. Moving on through the Benkar valley, you will be passing Dudh Koshi River. After that, the journey heads towards Chumoa and Monjo villages. In the journey forwards, you need to cross a suspension bridge which leads to Jorsale village. Finally, after ascending a steep trail the Namche Bazaar welcomes its visitors. This amazing journey of 11kilometers will consume 5 to 6 hours.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day
Namche Bazaar is probably the biggest town in the region. This town will serve you with its amazing ethnic cuisines and cultural shows. It is a wonderful and most facilitated market of the region with ATMs, Internet Cafes, shops, and various restaurants. There are several monasteries on this region. If you are interested you can hike up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the floral and faunal diversity. Situated at an altitude of 3440 meters Namche Bazaar also provides amazing sunrise views over the Himalayas.
Day 6: Hike to Tengboche
You will be guided towards Tengboche through Phunki. While ascending to Tengboche, the renowned Tengboche Monastery- the biggest monastery of that region will be visited. The monastery situated in the Sagarmatha National Park is famous for offering the breathtaking views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many more mountains. After ascending for 5 to 6 hours you will reach the resting destination for the day.
Day 7: Hike from Tengboche to Dingboche
The journey from Tengboche to Dingboche is a descending pathway of 9 kilometers which is generally completed in 5 to 6 hours. During this trek, you will be passing through the alpine forest with Rhododendron, confer, and birch trees. While walking downhill, you will pass through Debuche, cross the Imja River, and reach Pangboche. After visiting the famous Pangboche Monastery, you will be moving through the Imja valley and finally ascend to Dingboche.
Day 8: Acclimatization day
The main motto of spending a day in Dingboche is to acclimate the altitude of 4360 meters. After the meal, you will be headed to the Nagerjun and a ridge behind the village from where the six tallest mountain peaks of the world can be seen. Finally, it’s time to return back to Dingboche by exploring the Khumbu Khola and rest at the hotel.
Day 9: Hike from Dingboche to Lobuche
Dingboche to Lobuche is a journey of 8 kilometers which will consume 6 to 7 hours. After taking a wide pass, you will reach Dusa. From there arrives Mt. Pumori and while descending a beautiful stream can be viewed before finally ascending to Dughla. From Dughla again the descending path begins and after passing the Khumbu glacier Lobuche arrives.
Day 10: Hike from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and Gorakshep
The journey from Lobuche to Gorakshep is mainly full of glacial pathways and rough terrains. It is nearly a path of 13 kilometers which will take around 7 to 8 hours. In the way full of rounded ice towers, you will also have an amazing view of Khumbu glacier and mountains like Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori. After spending some amazing time at the Everest Base Camp, you will be headed towards Gorakshep.
Day 11: Hike from Gorakshep to Pheriche
From Gorakshep, you will be led on a steep pathway which leads to the Kalapathar situated at an altitude of 5545 meters from the sea level. The chilly and windy weather is accompanied by the breathtaking view of the Everest along with Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse mountains. After resting for some time, you will descend towards Pheriche and spend a night thereafter covering a distance equivalent to 16 kilometers.
Day 12: Hike from Pheriche to Namche
This trail is going to be one of the longest but also the easiest one. It is approximately a distance of 20 kilometers and is estimated to be conquered within 6 to 7 hours. In this trail, you will descend the coniferous, Juniperus, and rhododendron forests. You will also get to enjoy the marvelous views of the wildlife like Pheasants, some rare species of birds, and mountain goats. After crossing the Bridge of Dudh Koshi River, you will reach Sansa. Sansa offers the heavenly views of mountains such as Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. This night will be spent in the Namche Bazaar.
Day 13: Hike from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
The pathway from Namche Bazaar is mostly a downhill or descending track. This time you will again walk along through and cross the Dudh Koshi River, pass by the villages and monasteries before finally reaching Lukla. It is a 19-kilometer long pathway which will consume from 6 to 7 hours. You will take rest and get yourselves prepared for the next day’s flight to Kathmandu. This will be the final day in the lap of Himalayas and you will spend the night in a guesthouse of Lukla.
Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
In this 14th day, you will return back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you will rest and exhaust all the tiredness and be prepared for the next day’s cultural show.
Day 15: Rejuvenation in Kathmandu
This day is going to be one of the most memorial days of the journey as you, will have an opportunity to explore Kathmandu again. You can take the advantage of several relaxation centers, or spas in the valley. You will be guided through the most famous touristic shopping destinations. To make this final evening more memorial, Asian Heritage Tours and Travels will organize a complimentary farewell dinner program and cultural show.
Day 16: Depart from Kathmandu
The beautiful journey comes to an end. You will be dropped to the Tribhuvan International Airport by a representative of the Asian Heritage Tours and Travels.
